Fengersfors has been a microrosteri for coffee for a year. It is a new coffee trend with small roasteries for specialty coffee.
– I may have roasted a ton of coffee in the past year. Other microrostries roast away a couple of tons a month, says Espen Oliver Hansen, whose main job is furniture making. He also works as a teacher at Stenebyskolan in Dals Långed.

Kafferosteri is a brand new handicraft for Hansen and he started selling the first roasted coffee a year ago at the Glupsk food fair in Dalsland. Hansen expects to have a cautious expansion and is currently selling coffee in just one place.

The beans should be traceable to the different coffee growers around the world, then it is time to roast the beans properly and at the right time.
